Hebei, December 21, 2024 — On December 21, 2024, we had the honor of welcoming a distinguished delegation from a prominent Sudanese gold mining company to our Hebei Huahuang Activated Carbon factory. This visit was a significant step in deepening our collaboration and establishing a long-term supply agreement for 2025.
The day began with a comprehensive tour of our facilities, personally guided by General Manager Jack Zhang. The Sudanese delegation first visited our raw material storage area, where we explained the two key raw materials—coconut shell and coal-based carbon—that are used in our high-quality activated carbon production. These materials are selected for their distinct advantages: coconut shell carbon is known for its superior porosity and high surface area, while coal-based carbon is favored for its stable chemical properties in industrial applications.
Next, the delegation visited our state-of-the-art production facility, where they observed the entire manufacturing process, from raw material processing to the final product. Jack Zhang provided in-depth insights into our production line and quality control systems, ensuring that each batch of activated carbon meets the highest industry standards.
The highlight of the visit was a hands-on inspection of our finished product warehouse, where the Sudanese team examined our granular activated carbon products. To assess the performance of the activated carbon in gold extraction, the team conducted a simple water adsorption test. This test allowed them to evaluate the adsorption capabilities of our products and verify their effectiveness for gold extraction.
The water adsorption test is a crucial measure of activated carbon’s ability to efficiently extract gold in mining operations. The Sudanese representatives expressed satisfaction with the test results, confirming that our products meet their specific requirements in gold extraction.
Following the factory tour, both parties engaged in productive discussions about the projected annual order volumes for 2025 and other important details of the collaboration. Topics included supply timelines, customized packaging design, and specific product requirements for the upcoming year.
